When it comes to music and self-expression, Ghais Guevara simply does not know how or when to stop. After releasing the critically acclaimed BlackBolshevik LP, Guevara was armed and ready to drop a new EP, Black August Pack, just a few months later. Within a year, Guevara was already rolling out his next full-length record, There Will Be No Super Slave, again to wide praise. And true to his nature, another few months later came the appropriately named Job's Not Finished Pack. Today's Mathematics is a collection of both the Black August and Job's Not Finished Pack's. As expected from Guevara, both EP's are packed full of communist raps, socioeconomic and political commentary on top of lush experimental, sample-heavy production. Both EP's served as ways to hold over fans between records, maintaining the high quality output to prove Guevara is here, not going anywhere, nor sacrificing quality. Now they stand as a unified piece to showcase that quality, as we again wait for his next release.
Both variants are pressed on 140-gram vinyl, housed in 24pt reverse board jackets. The front and back art were expertly crafted by Maryam Azeeza Muhammad. The center labels and obi strip were designed by J. Park. The music has been finessed for vinyl by Geng PTP.
