We're a label born out of an undying passion for hip hop and vinyl records. We do not sign artists. We do not own any of their music. We encourage them to exercise their creative freedom, and we strive to bring it to life through beautiful records. Every record is worked on diligently one at a time, with a high amount of collaboration with each artist. Novelty strives to produce the highest quality records -- every detail polished and nothing forgotten.

How will I know when my order ships?
You'll receive an email with your order number and order details, as well as a tracking number. If you create an account, you can view the order status in your account details.
How long will it take to process my order?
Please allow one to two weeks for your order to be processed. This is more or less a one-man job. I will work on getting orders out as soon as I can. If you have a question about the status of your order, please use the contact form.
Please keep in mind that if your order contains a pre-order, it will not ship until the pre-order item is available.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Despite COVID-19 restrictions, we'll do our best to make sure every internationally ordered item makes it to its destination safely. Please allow three to five weeks for your order to arrive -- possibly longer, considering the current circumstances.
REFUNDS / EXCHANGES
We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the product arrived broken -- we all know how the USPS can be, especially when it comes to records, so if there is extensive damage to the product that deems it unusable, please contact us at email@example.com with your name, order number, and a description and pictures of the damage. If we can replace the item, we will, it just depends on if we have the item on hand. If not, a refund will be issued. There are no guarantees of a refund being given, it is up to our discretion.
As far as jacket damage goes, if your record arrived and there are significant issues with the jacket, we will replace it as long as we have spare jackets on hand. If we don't, there's nothing we can do. All of our records are shipped outside the jacket to prevent any damage, as well as being packed in a mailer designed to mitigate it. Things happen, though, so if your jacket is not up to par, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, order number, and a description and pictures of the jacket. There are no guarantees that we will send out a replacement jacket, it is up to our discretion. Issues like small seam splits and corner dings will receive lower priority to water damage, tearing, and any other major flaws.
CHANGING / CANCELLING AN ORDER
We cannot change the details of any order. If you ordered the wrong variant, please order the variant you want after all and then send an email to email@example.com with the order number you wish to cancel and we'll get to it as soon as possible.
We will cancel any orders as long as they have not shipped. If you wish to cancel an order outright, just send an email to the address above and we'll take care of it.
All of our records come in a polybag with the vinyl outside of the jacket.
We are slowly but surely moving out of the pre-order phase. Since this is a small and new label, this is difficult right now, but we will eventually transition to having all releases available to ship when they go up for sale. Please bear with us in the meantime. Trust me, I don't like pre-orders either.
