Originally released in March 2020 as the first jump into a steadily prolific run of albums and EP's, MAHAMUDRA is now presented on vinyl. Armed with beats by Keyed, HNIC, DJ Mastamind, Theravada, and Kvrse, ANKHLEJOHN brings the witty, fast, consciously braggadocio raps he's come to be known for.
The black variant of this record comes with a flexi featuring two exclusive ANKHLEJOHN tracks, one of which was released alongside a music video earlier this year. All variants are single-sided 180g wax with an etching of Buddha Vajradhara designed by J. Park. The music has been remastered for vinyl by Tyler Bisson of Audio Geography. Obi strip designed by ChaseTrav of AllCeven, and printed by Pride Printing in San Antonio, TX.
This record is dedicated to B. Hinton, an old vinyl head who wanted to be apart of making a record and helped make this one a reality. He passed away on August 27, 2021, the day after the record was pressed. He is missed tremendously.
